Dainty

This cardigan breaks the mold.  It is our only sweater that includes angora, in addition to pure Icelandic wool.  Vilborg used angora for the pure white trim and snowflake-like "munster," which is what Icelandic knitters call the pattern around the neck of their sweaters.  This is also one of just three 1-ply sweaters we are offering in this initial group.  One-ply sweaters are made of finer wool and therefore require more rows of stitches, and more stitches per row--resulting in a more flexible, lighter feel.  This navy blue sweater has metal buttons and a slight, trapeze-like shape. We've included a couple of pictures of Sophia wearing it (near our old Wagoneer) so you can better appreciate the look. It is too elegant to be worn with a hat!  But we will throw in a surprise hat anyhow...
