Stafkirkjan

The zig-zag munster design on this 2-ply pullover reminds us of Stafkirkjan, a small church on the island of Heimay, just off the south coast of Iceland, that was presented to Iceland by Norway in 2000 to celebrate 1000 years of Christianity.  The church is protected by a covering of bitumen, a waxy black material derived from petroleum.  We've included one of our snapshots of the church.
