Hekla

This is another of Vilborg's more modern 2-ply pullovers, in both shape and appearance.  The chevron pattern that encircles the neck reminds us of the volcanoes that gave birth to Iceland and still impact life there every day.  We named this sweater for Hekla, the volcano nearest to where our knitters dwell.  Hekla reaches nearly 5000 feet and has erupted 20 times since the year 874.
